The holidays are here, with the biggest celebrations of the season right around the corner. It’s a time for reflection and giving thanks. And at Hunger-Free Pennsylvania, we’re thankful for all the generous support we’ve received throughout the year, and for the long hours our volunteers have worked to help their neighbors in need.
This is our busiest time of the year. As most people prepare to take time off work to relax with friends and families, our food banks are ramping up. We make it our goal to ensure everyone has the opportunity to share the magic of the season.
Like everyone else who may have their eye on that perfect gift, our food banks have their own holiday “wish list.” It’s not filled with popular toys or electronics, but the items they seek can make all the difference for a family in need at this time of year.
If you were planning to donate to your local food bank this holiday season, please consider “shopping” from this list to find the perfect gift …
