We are honored to have been selected as a featured organization in the first annual Good Food Org Guide by the James Beard Foundation and Food Tank! The guide highlights nonprofit organizations that are doing exemplary work in the areas of food and agriculture, nutrition and health, hunger and obesity, and food justice.
Hunger-Free Pennsylvania was recognized because our organization has spent the past 25 years connecting food banks across Pennsylvania and working to find excess food. HFPA now also advocates for policies that prevent hunger in the Commonwealth and represents 21 member food banks in all of Pennsylvania’s 67 counties.
